Refugee Rights Europe
Refugee Rights Europe is a human rights organisation and registered UK charity. Founded in late 2015, the organisation researches and documents the situation for refugees and displaced people seeking protection in Europe, with a particular focus on human rights violations and inadequate humanitarian conditions experienced. The organisation uses its research findings to advocate for human rights-centered policy development, to ensure the rights of refugees and displaced people are upheld on European soil, in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

TERN (The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network)
TERN (The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network) is a London based social enterprise enabling refugees to thrive through the power of their own ideas. We do this by supporting refugee entrepreneurs in the creation and development of their own small-to-medium sized businesses, providing business services at three identified stages of the entrepreneurial process: business exploration, business start-up and business growth. Our services include expert training, mentorship and advice, as well as access to business networks and financial capital.

Tarjimly
Tarjimly is a global community with the mission of improving the lives of refugees by eliminating language barriers and providing instant access to support services through our mobile application. The Tarjimly app trains and connects on-demand volunteers, like translators and interpreters, with refugees and humanitarian organizations. We use machine learning matching to efficiently mobilize millions of people’s remote skills, empower refugees with language access and paid translator opportunities, and improve humanitarian outcomes across health, asylum, education, and aid. Our team is made up of refugees and immigrants, our co-founders are MIT graduates, YC alum, Echoing Green fellows, and Forbes 30 Under 30, and our advisors are experts in translation, SaaS technology, and disaster response.
Our vision is a world where refugees never suffer from language barriers, regardless of whether they are stuck in a camp or resettling in a new country – a world where refugees can get their voice back.
Our goal for 2019 is to sign up 1 million volunteer translators and interpreters to help 100,000 refugees around the world. We will do this by launching and scaling our mobile app, offering corporate volunteering programs, and starting a paid refugee translator program in 2019.

Marhub
Marhub’s platform connects refugees with tailored information and services through a chatbot, and enables organizations to respond efficiently by automatically screening and triaging inquiries. We partnered with the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) to pilot Mona, a chatbot for Syrian and Iraqi refugees to navigate resettlement procedures and connect with legal assistance. Through in-depth conversations on Facebook Messenger or Telegram, Mona screens refugees’ eligibility for resettlement and shares personalized information on pathways to safety. Mona refers relevant cases to IRAP for legal assistance and flags vulnerable cases. Mona has screened 4,000 refugees so far. Salaam, a Syrian woman in Lebanon with 2 toddlers, told Mona of the operation she needed for cardiac arrhythmia. Mona flagged her case, and IRAP responded immediately. Eventually functioning as a centralized hub across sectors, Mona will refer refugees to organizations based on their relevance and capacity.
