According to the centre for immigration studies less than 12.6 percent of refugees speak well or very well english upon their arrival. A low number which highlights the critical need to improve in this area. The FATI project, and in particular the “intellectual output 3” aims to help tackle this issue by documenting a comprehensive list of language tools aimed at improving language skills with a particular emphasis on tools designed to aid refugees.
